I’m Tristan Craig, CEO of Wealth Proactive.

Welcome to my website. I’m a passionate, enthusiastic and highly successful entrepreneur. I’m also a coach, an investor and a public speaker who has always believed in the power of positive and influential mindset training and thinking differently in order to achieve my goals and live my happiest life.
I offer a variety of different services from success coaching, website creation and SEO, professional image or video editing to digital marketing strategies to help entrepreneurs and business owners maximise their results.
Separate to the services that I offer to my clients, I have always been fascinated by building wealth. Money amplifies the type of person that you are. If you are a good person, you can do a lot of good things with money. Creating wealth therefore, gives you more choices over how you live your life, the impact you can have on others and the legacy that you can leave for generations to come.
I’ve learnt from and been coached by some of the worlds very best! From Kiana Danial (CEO of Invest Diva) to Russell Brunson, Tony Robbins, Myron Golden and Eileen Wilder to name a few.
One of the most significant things I have learnt that has been truly life transformational for me is implementing the Zen Wealth Generator concept that Kiana Danial teaches. The Zen Wealth Generator is a simple 3 step formula for creating your own powerful wealth ecosystem. Step 1. Invest In Yourself. Step 2. Increase Your Income. Step 3. Invest In Financial Assets.
I am using my blog to document and share my exciting financial education success journey so that I can help inspire and motivate others to achieve their own success and build true generational wealth for themselves and their families. But first, let me tell you a little more about myself…..
In The Beginning…
I went away to boarding school in the UK from age 10-18. This certainly taught me a lot about how to become independent from an early age! It also taught me how to quickly build rapport and strong relationships with others as you are living with your school friends literally 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. It was to your advantage to get along with people!
I was always very sporty at school and played to a high level in various tournaments across the country.

Educationally I struggled with my GCSE exams at age 16. I found taking 12 different subjects quite tough and I just didn’t enjoy the process of cramming what seemed like arbitrary information into my brain the days before an exam, only to forget everything a few days after the exam! I passed all of my GCSE’s but I didn’t get any A grades. I was disappointed.
I then took my A-level exams at aged 18. This was a very different story. Doing 3 subjects in depth that I loved led me to achieve top A grades in each of my subjects and interestingly the 2nd highest mark in the country for one of my exam subjects despite completely missing out 20% of the paper!
I chose to go to university having turned down my guaranteed place at Oxford University in favour of the more intimate collegiate environment offered by Durham University.
I enjoyed 3 fantastic years at Durham University and met my now wife on the very last day of the first term in the first year, December 1998! I graduated in July 2000 with a 1st Class BA Hons Degree in Education.
Achieving a 1st Class honours degree from a top university typically puts you into the top 2% academically. This marked one of the best academic achievements of my life and I was thrilled and excited for the future.
And Then…
Being business minded, I applied for some top graduate jobs and accepted my first management position with the UK’s largest, most successful and privately owned retailer on their central graduate scheme.

I settled into life in the corporate world pretty well, securing promotion after promotion and moving around the division as I climbed the corporate ladder. I thought to myself, this is it! I’ve made it!
However, I quickly realised that in order for me to keep progressing my career and ultimately my pay, I was going to have to accept the huge inconvenience of either moving house regularly or commuting long tiring distances.
As my career advanced I also had to endure the painful reality of workplace corporate politics. It was at this point that disillusion kicked in for me!
I started to feel trapped. Despite my successful career, I had a lot of commitments. I was married, we had the nice house and the car we wanted. We had 2 amazing young children.
Being a creative blue sky thinker and a highly driven entrepreneurial person, I was finding it increasingly difficult to feel happy and fulfilled in the corporate world. In a large company, when you are a small cog in a big wheel it is very hard to create an impact and affect change at pace. I found this very frustrating!
I knew I needed a breakthrough. I’ve always wanted to work for myself, be my own boss and be more in control of my own financial future and happiness. I had a plan… but then came the setback of all setbacks…..
Financial Disaster…
Knowing that I wanted to carve out my own path I set about researching ways to replace my corporate income quickly.

I had worked hard, I had some savings, so after much research and due diligence I decided to take a course and dip my toe into real estate. Simple concept. Buy a property in a desirable area. Rent it out for income and enjoy future capital appreciate on that property.
I bought a condominium property in Orlando Florida close to Disney World. I thought that would make the perfect investment property and we could also use it as a family for holidays whenever we wanted.
The resort was part way through construction. We had made our decision and we signed the paperwork and handed over most of our life savings at this point to exchange on the purchase. We were excited.
However, our excitement was very short lived. The 2008 financial crisis was soon to be upon us and we heard a few months later that the resort developer had gone bust and we stood to lose everything that we had put into the deal other than a small amount in escrow which we recovered.
Long story short, we lost well over $100K. This was a huge financial blow for us.
Regrouping & Rebuilding…
It felt like financially we were right back to square 1. I felt sad, depressed, frustrated, anxious and broken.

But… my entrepreneurial spirit was alive and kicking and my unwavering determination raged on within me! I needed to refocus!
My positive mindset told me that this situation was going to become the springboard to my future success and I was prepared to do whatever it took to make it happen.
I took various courses in the evenings after work and I learned new skills so that I could quickly build side hustles around things that I enjoyed, that interested me and I was good at.
Whilst growing my side hustles I constantly increased my skills so that I could become valuable to small businesses by mastering the art of designing and building websites, graphic design, video editing, image editing, blogging, SEO, affiliate marketing, digital marketing and social media management. I offered my services to businesses or individuals on a done for them or consultancy basis.
Including commuting I worked very long days in the corporate world but I still came home to work at least another 3-4 hours per day on my side hustles! Those hours spent on my side hustles quickly became more satisfying, enjoyable and rewarding than my corporate job. I was building a great reputation. My skills became highly in demand!
I could see the light at the end of the tunnel, I could feel I was getting closer to making the decision to leave the corporate world behind forever!
The Final Breakthrough…
School holidays in late summer 2020. Covid times…
Covid was already forcing changes in the way people were working across most businesses worldwide. A new work from home revolution was beginning to emerge. I wanted to work more efficiently and have a better work life balance. I wanted to work from home. I knew it made sense.
My side hustles continued to flourish. I wanted to attract an abundance of wealth into my life, more happiness and more satisfaction. Day by day I was getting braver and closer to my decision to leave the corporate world behind and pursue the life of my dreams.

A chance meeting on TikTok led me to Kiana Danial, CEO of Invest Diva. I could immediately relate to Kiana and I felt an instant connection to her values and mission.
I’ve always loved entrepreneurship, creating multiple income streams, making money (investing) and genuinely helping others succeed. What I saw in Kiana was someone with an identical focus and passion.
I joined Kiana’s Make Your Money Work For You Power Course so that I could learn how to make the money I had earned through side hustles work harder for me than the measly 0.5% interest it was earning in a savings account!
I blasted through the Invest Diva Power Course in 3 days. I implemented what I had learned and took action.
Thanks to Kiana Danial’s Power Course and her coaching, in 5.5 months, I had built our families investment portfolio to well over $100K and by 12 months our portfolio had surpassed $207K.
This now became the tipping point for my decision and in April 2021 I handed in my notice and officially left the corporate world behind in May 2021.
With Kiana’s fantastic coaching and mentorship, the speed of my success was quickly becoming apparent and I knew that I wanted to immerse myself in supporting the Invest Diva Movement going forward.
As an independent contractor, I provide freelance coaching and support as Chief Community Success Officer, alongside Kiana Danial and the Invest Diva team. To help transform peoples lives and to inspire student success is the greatest honour and a dream come true!

The impact that Kiana’s courses and coaching has had on my family is incredible. It has simply been life changing. We have learned the life skills to take control of our financial future and make our money work for us! We all view money differently as a result and we look for more ways to increase our value and help others.
As of mid August 2023 I have gone on to grow our families total portfolios to over $500K+. I was able to achieve that goal in just under 3 years from watching the Invest Diva Masterclass webinar before going on to immediately join and complete the Make Your Money Work For You Invest Diva Power Course.
My future goals are to focus on further enhancing our wealth ecosystem, to build our family’s portfolio to at least $1 Million+ and to support our boys as they continue to build their junior portfolios.
